Michelle has always taken an active interest in helping the community and those less fortunate.  She is a member of the United Way Women’s Philanthropy Group, and has been a cast member and sponsorship chairperson for CHOC Follies, benefiting Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She is also a member of the Orange County Bar Lawyer Magazine Editorial committee. 

 

Michelle is a former board member of the American Association of University Women and Vice President in charge of its Legal Advocacy Fund as well as a former member of Working Wardrobe where she served as a board member and chairperson of COPES, another non profit organization providing shelter for young children and parenting training to assist in reuniting families, now part of OliveCrest. 

 

As a long-time supporter of the WISEplace Women Shelter, Michelle has organized and presented their annual New Years' eve party for many years.  WISEPlace is a non-profit transitional living facility for women.
